How to install a package of bees

I know that installing a package of bees is daunting task.

Here is a video I would like to share that shows you how to install the package of bees in the Bee Bus.

Note: DO NOT release the queen from the cage.

The bees will do that. The bees will eat out the candy in about 3-4 days.

If you release the queen, we are not responsible for a replacement.

If you are installing the package using the easier method, retrieve the Bee Bus the next day and install the remaining frames in the hive.

Leave the hive for at least 8 days. Do not open the hive and try to find the queen within the 8 days. If you do, you may kill the queen.

There is a higher acceptance of the queen after 8 days.

After 8 days, you can see if the queen is laying eggs.

Do not checker board the frames. Leave them as they are.
